Ok I am not at home but I asked about how to make large save files for backgrounds smaller and someone said to change the compression size. I tried this with PNG but it doesn't allow you to do this. Is there a way to do this with jpegs in PSP (this said to do it in PS which I don't have)?


Any help or point in right direction would be appreciated!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but when you go to save your background paper as a .JPG file, look at the bottom right corner of your Save window. There should be a button that says "Options..." Click the options button. A Save Options window will appear. Change the compression factor to between 8 and 10. This will change the file size of your background. Hope this helps.
