Exclamation HELP! Intellisharpen

I'm trying to install Fred Miranda's "Intellisharpen II" into PSP9, but I can't figure out how. I've loaded it into my plugins file, and then in PSP I did the file>preferences>file location bit...but it still doesn't "see" the plugin. Can someone help me please?!

Hi,

When you load new plug ins you have to reboot your computer for PSP to recognise them.

Try this and see if it works.

I have never had to reboot to get my plugins to work. I just drop them in the plugins folder in the PSP files. That's it. I hope rebooting works for you, but are you sure that the plugin is compatible with PSP9? I am not familiar with that one so pardon my ignorance if it is. I know that some plugins don't work with PSP though. Hope you get it up and running!

i tried both of the ways sugested here when i tried to install a plugin and neither worked. i ended up having to go into my Program Files>PSP>Plugins. before getting my new laptop, i never had to go into my program files, just My Documents>My PSP Files>Plugins and they would work. i don't know what happened, but they work now!
now to move them to my new desktop. oiy!

You might be missing a certain *.DLL file if the plug-in is Adobe/PSP compatible and not working....I had this happen once on my laptop....let me see if I can ferret out the link to the *.DLL file and see if that doesn't help you both.

OK...check your Windows System folder to see if you have the following file:

Msvcrt10.dll

If not, you need to download and install it...here is a link to the file and some general help on the issue.

http://thepluginsite.com/products/pi...s/makework.htm

PS: Just d/l the file and put it into your Windows System file...disregard the info about FilterFactory, unless of course you would like to install Filter Factory too! LOL

Let us know how you nake out if this helps...I had to d/l this file to my laptop to get my Toadies filters to work.....
