I finally managed to do it. Thank you so much for your help. The problem with the text was as you thought because was working on the background for both the selection and the text. And you are also right about the software, I use PSP9.

Where is my reply which I wrote a few days ago? Anyway I wanted to thank you for your patience and explanations, I finally managed to do that and you were right, the problem was that I was working on the background layer. And you were also right about the software -I am using PSP9.
