Layout with dots/lines on them

Hi there...
I hope someone can help me. I have done this in the past, but I am drawing a mental block on how I did it the correct way. I want to add a line of dots that circle a layout, and just can't get it to look right. I have found an example of kinda what I want to do and if you could take a look and tell me the most easiest way to get this look to a layout, I would be so thankful... and alot less frustrated then I am now.. Here is a link to what I am trying to explain..
example

I want to add the line to the top of the page and then bend downwards like this layout does, but I just can't seem to get it to look right.
Any help at all? I am using PSP9, which I just started using... and am more used to how PSP8 runs. I haven't played with the line tool hardly at all, and this is becoming a challenge to me.
Thanks for any help
jodik

Looks to me like it is a preset shaped rounded rectangle with the line style set to a circle style line....
However I do not know if the rounded rectangle preset shape I have is one that came with PSP, or if it is one I downloaded???
Ok I checked and it is a standard preset shape!! So you should have it??

I made a circle line style, in a few minutes using the Dot line style, choose custom, then just pick the first end cap and change it from the square to the circle, increase the size to about 4-5, if you need to change the spacing with the arrows so the circles are spaced evenly and then use Save As, give it a unique name and then you can use it anywhere you need a line!!
Here's a tut for how to make one:

If you want the one I made just PM me with your email and I will send it to you!!

Another way would be to create a brush tip or just use a round one with hardness set to 100, you would have to play with the step amount, and since I love scripts, use the vector brush script on a vector line and it will paint your circles for you.
Here is the link for vector brush script:

Hopefully this helps someone...hehe
Can't wait to hear some more ideas that I am sure are easier then what I just explained!!

Haley's suggestion is the way to do it in PSP...the dotted line in the layout you gave as an example was done is Photoshop so the probably were working on a path.

Once you get your dotted line style you will be set.

You're Welcome!!

I think you mean the brush script...Here is one for the vector tube script, this one is really neat for stiching on anything that again is a vector!!
