Scripts are automated task lists you can use with PSP. Its a series of commands that has been recorded and then play back to make repetitive tasks easier. for example if you want to make text that looks like fire or ice, you might have to go through 5 different steps to do that. if you make a script to do it, all you need to do is run the script, enter the text, and then the script will do the rest of the tasks automatically and present you with the results. To use them, click on File, and then on scripts and then on Run. This will open the dialog box and you can browse to the script you want to use. You can also make your own scripts by clicking on record in that menu. There are a few scripts built into PSP and you can download hundreds more from the Internet. Here is a link to a cool script that makes seamless plaid backgrounds

Plaid Generation Sxcript

Have fun playing with it

To do this, I make a layer and draw a preset shape outline, like a circle or rounded rectangle. Then I do text on a curve, and use the period to make the dots.
