Important for PSP users...

Hi,
Below is a link to the PSP newsgroup, this should be in your favorites folder. The information that these experts have and offer freely, is truly amazing. If you have questions about anything PSP they can help you from Brushes, presets, scripts, plug-ins, photo manip's, problems with your camera and resolution/image size settings. You name it and they have the answers for you!!

www.corel.com/newsgroups

They are trying to get a newsgroup started for all aspects of scrapbookers using PSP, so we have access to how to make elements, backgrounds, ribbons, and shapes using PSP native format, but they need scrapper to show an interest in doing this with PSP. I know for one, I am.

Lets show our support for this wonderful program!! And let's get to scrappin' the PSP way!!

Hi, this is confusing, have you used newsgroups before? I have but it was years ago and things have changed..
Click on the first link above, scroll down until you see Paint Shop Pro 9, click it and your newreader will open automatically, I use Outlook Express.
Then it will ask you if you want to subscribe to this newsgroup, select yes.

You should see a cnews.corel.com on your left side, click on it and it will change the way your newsreader looks with different options...this is really easier then it sounds..
Click on Newsgroups and a Newsgroup subscriptions window will come up and it should have cnews.corel.com and a whole list of newsgroup associated with Corel. scroll down in the window until you find corel.PaintShopPro_Scrapbooking and any other one you want to look at, I would also suggest PSP9. then hit the subscribe button and the messages will appear in your newsreader!
I hope..they did in mine!! LOL
This newgroupd just started but you will only get the newest message as of the day you subscribed, so you need to Tools/download next 300 headers to catch up on the whole thread.
Hope this helps and if you can figure it out it is well worth it!!

I've followed your instructions and I can't see the scrapbooking group. There is no list of other groups other than the psp9 group.

to get to the scrapbooking part you have to go like this..let me see if i could explain it.
well, for starters I use OE for my newsgroups. and so i go to TOOL/NEWSGROUPS
then i highlight corel draw and then in the tab that says: display newsgroups that contain: I typed in scrapbooking and it brought me right to it. Now, if you dont use OE I have no idea...lol
