Issues vs. year's Subscription

I'm confused about something.... Each issue costs $3, so a year's worth of ezines would actually cost a total of $36, right?

But if you want to buy a whole year's subscription at once, it normally costs $60? I don't understand the difference.....

Is there some extra benefit to paying for the whole year at once that's worth an additional $24?

Valarie...

I think the new price per issue is going to be $5 or $6 per issue after the start of the new year... as I know for sure the $60 is "New Pricing" for 2005 annual rates. The $3 per issue and $30 per year is the old pricing that goes away after today, I believe...

HTH!

You mean that even the old issues are going up???

Yuck. Now I'm thinking that maybe subscribing won't be something I can afford to bother with at all, in the future.

I'm not sure about that...

part as far as the old issue prices going up(sorry)... I just know that from now on the subscriptions and issues will be more for next year...

They MAY or MAY NOT leave the old issues at the old price... not sure about that sweetie! Maybe Kristie or Amy will see this post and answer for sure on that part of your question...

I bought several of the older issues and a subscription for a year in Oct, and I like it a lot... The major benefit in my opinion is that there are lessons so to speak on HOW-TO-Do things in different programs in each issue. I like that part... since I learn how to do something New with my program... as I am very new to PSCS and Digi sb'ing all together since Sept, this year.

Keep in mind too - the actual value of the EZine... so many of the contributors in it and the amount of downloads alone in it are quite a bit for what is being provided within it... but the new prices will be $3.00 for the past issues; $5.00 for new issues. The yearly ezine price would then be 60.00; various sales on this will be provided to those from time to time - keep an eye out

i just have to say at $3 or $7, the ezine is a steal each month... should be a no brainer to get this (if you have the money for it)

thanks to all who contribute so much to this.

fyi... for the longest time i thought the ezine was the "same" as the newsletter so i didn't bother buying... the first time i decided (i figured whats 3 bucks?) boy was i overwhelmed. now i can't wait for it each month!

You also have to figure that in each issue of the ezine there are 3 full sized kits and 3 page-bytes plus a bunch of element downloads. Also all of the tutorials for each program and additinal indepth articles. On the open (digital scrapbooking) market today kits average $5.00 each. so if you figure that into the equation then it's a super bargain. Plus with all the tutorials specific to digital scrapbooking it's a wonderful resource and reference tool since it's all bookmarked and totally searchable.

Thanks for speaking up we certainly appreciate your thoughts on the matter.
