Is there a way to set up what I am doing so that I know if someone has responded to a thread or post I have made in the forums? I am trying to get "more" out of the forums by using them more and this would be a helpful addition. Not sure if you can do it and I just haven't figured it out or what? Thanks!

Under the 'thread tools' options above - select "subscribe to this thread"

You can also:

Click on Nevermore (by your avatar)>View all posts by Nevermore

or

Click on Nevermore (by your avatar)>View Public Profile

Under "Forum Info" you can view all of your posts or just the ones you started

I have vowed to use the resources available here to their maximum having decided to jump ship from PSP to Photoshop.
