Do you have both the bow and the ribbon already? Or do you want to know how to make a bow in the center of a ribbon?

This is something that is better to be scanned or photographed and extracted from the background to use on a ribbon.

It is hard to do from scratch and depending on the type of bow you are looking to create would entail cutting out pieces of paper and shaping them just right, or creating perfect shapes for the parts of your bow and then making sure you get all the inner shadows and drop shadows to make it look correct.

There really are not many tutorials for bow making that look "good" enough and most look flat and not 3D..know what I mean?

Which ezine issue did you purchase? It may help us to see what you are looking at.

I will warn you that many designers use PhotoShop, which is a program that allows us to use "actions" to create items that are otherwise complicated. An "action" is similar to a "script" in PSP, and some "actions" allow you to create amazing realism when they are well-written.

I don't know PSP like Tracey R does, so maybe she can explain it a bit better for you.

It would really help to have a visual since there are 100 of different types and variations of cute little bows in digi land!

I don't have AV Bros so I have no idea how to make a bow in that program.
