Printing Help

I have just done my very first computer scrapbooking.

I made the size 8x11inch, to fit on my A4 photo paper in PSP8

When i came to print it out, it shows you what it will look like. When i seen the pre-view a lot of the things where missing of the top and bottom of the page.

My A4 photo paper is bigger than 8x4 so i know it should fit.

Please can anyone give me any ideas on what i should do.

Thanks
Denise

Hello Denise-
MOST printers will only print 8x10.
I used to do my LO's in 8.5x11, but I wanted to print them at home so I started doing them 8x10. Also 8x10's are a LOT cheaper if I want to get them printed somewhere.

There are borderless 8.5x11 printers which I would love to have, but can't afford right now.

I know it would be a pain, but if you DO want to print at home, I would recommend changing to 8x10. Better now than 30+ LO's down the road like me.

Of course if you're ready to buy a new printer, then that's a different story.

Not sure why your print preview showed you that it was all there- I've found that option to be a little iffy sometimes

layout

Thank you.

Is there a way i can change it to 8x10, or have i got to start again?.

As this is my first i am unsure of how to change a hole layout with lots of pages to it.

Many thanks
Denise

Hi Denise

If you have a printer that has a Auto paper detect turn it off. In the printers Menu tools Auto paper detect select No .
This worked for me i can now print edge to edge. Hope this helps
i have a HP photosmart.

Printing

Thanks Bev. I will have a look at what you said.

I have doing them now as i am having so much trouble trying to print them.

I did a different computer scrapbooking page, all the right size but when i go to print it just stops. nothing moves. I thought PSP8 was too much for my computer so i put them on disk took them to work where we have better computers and the same thing happernd on them nothing, the printing will not start.

I think i will have to save up some mony and get a new photo programe as PSP8 does not like me!.

Thanks
Denise
