I do a lot of my gift shopping on Amazon (especially for those far afield) and one of things I find really useful is the fact that you can search for a user's wishlist and buy something from it and have it shipped even if you don't know their address - Amazon takes care of it all.

Then I thought, it would be really cool if you could do that with the wishlists at SBB. I know you can buy gift certificates, but I always think buying something that someone has expressed a wish for is so perfect - especially if someone else takes care of delivering it to them. And with digital goodies that should be even easier! So you could even treat people you might only know through the forum - and it would be a real surprise.

Whadya think, any chance?

I'm not sure if the wishlists do that here but that would be really cool. A way around that would be to sign up for Kaboodle. You can shop any store on the net and it will save a picture of the item with a link back. Really cool program.
