AAAKKKK!!! how do I get rid of gray scale???

I was trying to speed scrap an Easter Lo in Photoshop, and I was trying to hit CRTL+E for "merge down" and missed and everything went to grayscale..... (I must have hit CTRL+ 3 or 4..perhaps CTRL+W) How to I get my Lo back??? I tried "step backwards" but nothing seems to reverse this! I don't want to lose what I have done!

In PSP if we turn anything greyscale it means that we lower the color depth so we can just increase color depth again and it comes back. It also has items like 8 bit, 16 bit can you see anything like this in PS?
