I've got to agree 100%. It's always well worth the $3.
Loved shelleyrae's article comparing the versions of DIP, since I plan to purchase DIP 9 within the week.

As I was reading it last night, I was oohing and aahing over all the wonderful stuff. You really do a fabulous job. Only problem is, I spend so much time looking at all the great stuff you do, and trying the tutorials, etc. that I'm not getting much scrapbooking done! Oh, well, once the learning curve is not so steep, I'll get back at it! Thanks, thanks, thanks!
