I am new to this group, new to digital scrapbooking, and use Photoshop CS. My brother's 60th birthday is next month and I want to do some digital scrapbooking pages using photos from his childhood, but I don't know where to start. I have seen so many beautiful pieces of work here, I feel lost, not knowing what background to use, or elements. Can someone steer me in the right direction...maybe help me start my thinking process...

Look through the gallery and find a particular style that appeals to you and copy a page. You can use the basic page tutorial for photoshop to get you started. Tutorials are under "informational" at the top of every page.
