Question Is this correct??

I purchased Ronnie McCray's Ripped Alpha today as well as site membership. Everything was fine until I tried to download. Is it possible that this alpha is 129MB? That's what it said and it took forever to download, then it disappeared when I tried to open it. The membership subscription said 167MB..I didn't even attempt this! It was going to take over 20 minutes and I have DSL which is usually pretty fast. I have purchased before and never had any problems. Is it me or is there something else going on? help!

It may be a temp glitch with your adsl - did you try again yet?
Often to your speed may vary during peak times so it may say 20 mins up only end up being ten.
I have no idea how big Ronnie's file should be so cant help there.

Just peeked at Ronnie's description, and I would say yes to the file being that big. It is a couple of alphas PLUS templates, plus cardboards and template, plus other elements. That many items can easily add up to a huge download.

It should not have disappeared when you tried to open it tho. Do a good scan of your computer to make sure it is free of an nasty bugs, then try unzipping again. The fact that your download was so slow could mean a problem with your ISP or your computer (since nobody else has commented on slow downloads today).

Let us know how you make out.

Thanks gals! I did try again later, aware that peak times may slow things down, but it was the same. I also ran every de-bugger and tried a search to see if the zip file went AWOL, but came up with nothing. Will try to DL again this morning....
