For the meantime to ensure the gallery is fully-functional on the new server... I have turned off signatures in the gallery only.

If you have ANY missing images in your gallery post here ASAP as I have about 2 and half weeks to grab anything from the other server that is missing this time

Let me know your experience/findings of things you want/need fixed and/or changes that you are experiencing (good and bad)

This is what I get when I try to access "Today's Gallery Posts" or "Recent Posts 1 day" under the Gallery heading. I note that it says "Old Server Note". I have cleaned out my internet cache.

Yeah that is probably b/c the DNS hasn't fully propogated for you... it might bounce a bit for the next 24 hours... try logging out, closing your browser, and then logging back in.... if you have further issues of course you can email me at admin@sbbemail.com

Also if anyone is having this continued issue you can fix it "temporarily" by FORCING the resolution on your comptuer (PC)

Go to:

My computer
C:\
Windows
system32
drivers
etc

Then find the folder that is named: hosts

Right click on that file and uncheck the read only box and apply.

Next, open the file with notepad.

Add the following:
74.52.173.146 scrapbook-bytes.com
74.52.173.146 www.scrapbook-bytes.com
74.52.173.146 http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com
74.52.173.146 http://scrapbook-bytes.com

Save it.
Close it.

Restart your computer.

not sure i'd notice if anything was missing in my gallery. lol

we can do signatures in the gallery? i never knew that

Yes, they were the same siggie that you would have had in the forum but we feel at this time (we = members of SBB team) feel that the gallery should be more for sharing, comments and posting and the signatures were just really wreaking havoc on the load times.

If something were missing you will see a read and white icon saying no thumbnail

Amy, I took a quick look in my gallery and found all the thumb nails were there, but when I started opening them, no picture was there. I found 8 missisng in my gallery between postings #60 and 91. The end of my gallery. Maybe because they're older?

My gallery has the same problem. It may be because the photo size (number of pixels) exceeds the limit and the new server does not accept them. I have lost my entire gallery.
