I'm also having problem with downloading papers that I bought in the store last night. It says the file is corrupt or damaged. I tried downloading it 3x but it didn't work. So I should email Amy? Or should I just wait? I don't really want to overload her with email if it will resolve itself.

as of Sunday night the server experienced SOOOO much traffic that it was overloaded... apparently a cnn article was posted on their site and this created havoc. If you are still having issues; email customer service and we are happy to help get it corrected as the download was more than likely intererrupted or not completed due to the server going down Sunday and/or Monday.

And dont forget that Winzip or other third party unzip software i snot necessary if you have Windows ME or XP Simply right click on the file and choose Extract All and it does it for you.

I wanted to thank everybody for their help - particular Amy (naturally), Catscraps for trying to address my problem, Shelleyrae, and especially defntlymb for suggesting WinAce.

Of course, I'm still having troubles. I re-downloaded one and tried opening with WinAce. I get the same message as mabbts -- I can open the file but when I try to extract anything it says "File Header is damaged". I purchased 4 kits (what can I say, my birthday is coming up and it was a gift to myself) and all of them are this way -- the ones I downloaded yesterday as well as the one I re-downloaded today all say "File Header is damaged".

Actually, now I'm trying to re-download another one and I'm not getting a response from the server. Is it getting slammed again?

Thanks again everyone for trying to help. I'm happy to wait a little bit and try re-downloading another one tomorrow. Has anyone else had any better luck?

The server got slammed again as soon as the store reopened. Amy has purchased and is having the host install increased RAM to rectify the problem and I believe the host is doing that tomorrow so if you can wait 24 hours then you should not encounter problems any longer
