As an alternative to HTML code, the administration has opted to ONLY enable vB code. This provides a sub set of the functionality of HTML code, while maintaining security from malicious scripting and layout damage. More information about vB code can be found here.

We are putting this into place as the ONLY form of linking in the forums and through our vulnerability scans to ensure that while it's running on the site it's secure.

For those who use html - below is a link were you can find out more about using vB code in your posts and signature:

Thank you for the link to explain vB code. I have it bookmarked it so I can refer to it as needed. Thanks for keeping SBB "safe" for us.

i have just received confirmation from their security department that we can indeed turn on just the vB coding and they will check the security logs in the morning.

If you are using html in your signature you will need to change it to a vB code format for it to function as before. thanks!!

Does anyone else see that this board stretches way out...my viewable form table wants to be about 2" larger then my 19' monitor and I have a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.
I thought it was because Scrapin Girls bottom links are so long, but yet they wrap finally at the end of the url link also.
My monitor res setting are 1280x1024 96ppi. It does not seem to be happening in the other forums...

Tracey,

Yes, my screen is stretched out in this thread. I have to scroll back and forth to read it. Haven't noticed it yet in other forums, but I haven't looked at many since the updates.
