Like scrap'n girl I spent at least 45 mins on the phone last night with my ISP trying to figure out what is going on. Also tweaked a lot of things in tool/options. But to no avail.He could get onto the site quite easily.

So am I reading this correctly?

Is it now the host blocking IP's? Not the ISP.

BTW Amy. So sorry about what has happened. And I am quite happy to wait patiently unitil all is resolved. But Boy is it going to be hard. lol .I have to log on at work to catch up on everything that is going on.

Are you sure your own Firewall (ie Norton) isn't blocking the site????? Just a thought and I haven't read the entire thread........

Thanks for the hint nellierose, but i am not running a firewall.

edited to add i.e. norton etc nothing has changed on my computer so i don't think that it is my computer

the latest from Lori/aka Dimante:
I did call verizon this morning. We were on the phone for an HOUR only to find that it has to be the sites ips (there filters) that are blocking people whose IP Address starts with 70.

Now last night, Lisahoo is also having troubles not getting in using Verizon also. She has call them and tried everything to no avail!!
oops skipped ahead of myself!! Lisahoo is able to get into the chat room...a different server.
I emailed Lori right away and she was able to come in there also and talk for a while!!
So she got a small fix anyhow!!
A big thanks go out to Arti, thank you for the use of your computer head DH!!!! LOL
