the members gallery is so huge and so many countries represented - could it be that one f.ex could divide this in to the worlds areas' - like North America, Europe, Asia etc.... - it might be easier for the members to find others that post LO's that is in the same region of the world.

Why should we only look at LOs that are near us geographically? Any time you break up the gallery you risk separating people and creating cliques. Plus, what about my pictures from trips overseas? Do they go in the North American category since that's where I'm from, or the Asian category because that's where the pictures were taken?

I think it would be great to encourage people to put the location and country of their pics in the keywords so that you can search for them, though
