I have chosen Bear Shield by Marie Buchfink... I love her art!!! I found this print a long time ago and have yet to get it out of my mind. Marie's use of earth tones is amazing. Hope you like it.

Hi all, I'm a new user from Ireland, and I'm loving this site. This is my first challenge (only joined yesterday), and my picture is by the English illustrator Arthur Rackham. He produced the most amazing illustrations to fairy tales, Ring of the Nibelungen, Peter Pan etc etc. This image is called "The Fairys are having a tiff with the birds" and I love the way they float by the birds with their noses in the air. I have always had a love for the ocean! When we lived in Hawaii one of my favorite places to go was the North Shore to the Wyland Gallery. I could stay in there for hours! I always loved this one because it was fun!

I updated mine! We live in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and seeing this is a very common occurance for us, it would be totally nature to have it hanging on our wall above the fireplace!!

Can´t resist the chance of having a Charles Rennie Mackintosh rose as my avatar if only for a while. I trained at the Glasgow School of Art, which was designed by him, and it was the sight of these lovely roses which decorate all the studio doors that inspired me to specialise in stained glass.
