This is my wonderful father holding two of his grandchildren. The babe on the right with all the hair is my daughter Shawna. The other is my niece April. My father was a great dad and also an outstanding "papa". My kids adored him.

FINALLY! Here's mine. I didn't get to know my dad, at least not to remember him. He died in a hunting accident when I was about three. I can only remember that I used to be able to remember him. This is a rare pic of him with my mom. It's fuzzy and old, but has a neat story to it. This series of photos was actually a set of slides that someone sent my mom and she had the common sense to look into having them turned into photos. I am so glad she did. I think we still have the slides somewhere, but they have faded. Now with my digital work, they can be saved hopefully for a long time!

They were an adorable couple D! So young and cute! I'm sorry about what happened to your dad. That makes me so sad. TFS this wonderful memory of them. They were too cute!

This is my Dad. He's probably going to 'kill' me for doing this (uploading this pic), but this is a little handiwork by my Mother...she's got quite the sense of humor. A little story. My mother did this "photo" editing and had me print it 8x10. She then hung it in the living room to see how long Dad would notice. Believe it or not, it was a FULL WEEK. And the whole time, my father couldn't figure out why everyone giggled when he walked in the room.

Thanks for letting me share.
