Bring out your puppies, kitties, goldfish and reptiles! It's time to show them off in your avatar. It can be your current companion or your pet from childhood. Heck it can even be the pet you wish you had. Just showoff those loveable critters.

In this crazy world I'm thankful for my kitties. They provide an amazing amount of comfort and hilarity to my day. My boy Leon is the star of my avatar this month with the support of some great elements by Jen Wilson (papers), Shabby Princess (staple) and Dena Cooper (tag).

This is our Alicia Kitty! She's our pride and joy. I rescued her from the pound. I'm not exaggerating when I say she was at "death's door." She was very sick, and skinny. We almost lost her a few times. I knew she'd be a beauty though, and boy was I right. She's such a sweetie. She's always there when any of us need a friend! Can't imagine life without a kitty cat!

This is our Gumbo, he's almost 5 years old now, this was when he was about 1. He was a "pound puppy" that had been found on Christmas Eve 2001. We have 2 squirrels that live nearby and love to tease Gumbo by hanging from the power lines above the fence - looks like they're waving at him! It drives him crazy not to be able to jump high enough to reach them! His name reminds me of my hometown of New Orleans, Gumbo is the name of the Saints football team mascot as well as my favorite food!

This is Sasha the smartest dog I ever knew. She'll obey if she must, but it's always with a 'tude as if she were saying, "Alright you're the boss, but I just don't get it!" LOL.

I'd like to introduce you to Shamra (American Saddlebred) and Bo (Appaloosa). They were the last two horses that I owned back in the 1980's. They are just two of the beasties I had while growing up on the farm. Since I couldn't fit all of my Beasties into the avatar, I chose the picture I always loved (and one that wouldn't make me get teary each time I saw It).

Here is my cat Eidolon, one of five cats that I have, and also one dog.

Is there a reason I can't see everyone's avatars? On my screen, there's nothing for Arti, Dianne, or Stacy's avatars. Is it me, or something with the new site design?

I don't know Daisy! I do know that there is a setting in your profile where you can turn off siggies - maybe you have it set to off and that's effecting avatars and such? Look under your User CP/Options/Thread Display and see if you can find it there!
