Here is the 'unpretty' version of the schedule for this weekend. Please download the attached PDF for the printable and formatted version.
Be sure to get cracking on those questions for our Designer Q&A sessions and email them in to the appropriate address as well as thinking on what elements you will create for our contest. Please DO NOT start creating these items now or submit elements you have already created in the past. Of course, we are relying on the honor system in this, but we know we can trust you scrappers.
Thanks and see you all weekend long for more fun and scrapping than you can handle!

Announcement of Elements Contest - ‘So You Want to Be an SBB DTM?’
So you want to be an SBB DTM? Do you have what it takes? Part of the daily lives of many of the SBB DTMs is creating elements for the Ezine and special projects like the Simple Scrapbooks digital issue. For this project, 3 designers created 3 special elements: an overlay by Rhonna Farrer, a page-byte by Alison Folendore, and a kit by Gina Cabrera. What we are challenging you to do is pick from these 3 categories and try your hand at creating one of them (or all of them!). You have until 11:59 pm Eastern on Saturday, September 25th to mail them to
elementscontest@scrapbook-bytes.com. Entries must be 300 dpi and include your name as part of the filename(s) with no spaces. Please include a .JPG preview no larger than 500 pixels wide. We will post these anonymously and open a poll for the members to vote all day Sunday. By entering this contest, you are agreeing to these elements being posted in the SBB Elements Gallery once the contest has ended. If you do NOT want your entry to be shared, you MUST indicate this in your entry email. All entries MUST be original to the person submitting them to the contest. NO SCANS OR INCORPORATIONS OF PAPER ITEMS ALLOWED.
12-1 am Special Friday Night Moonlight Scrap - ‘What SBB Means to Me’
How has this site helped you to become a better scrapper? What have you learned here? Who have you met? Create a page around these thoughts during this scrap.
SATURDAY
ALL DAY
Member Elements Contest
Altered Layouts Contest
Catch me if you can! The SBB Bandit has been loose in the gallery tagging
layouts with the new SBB logo! Any layout is fair game for the SBB Bandit... EVEN YOURS! Between 9 am and 5 pm Eastern on the 25th, there will be 5 layouts marked by the bandit. If you can spot all 5 layouts, leave comments on them, and email the links to
bandit@scrapbook-bytes.com by 11:59 pm Eastern on Saturday, you will be nicely rewarded for your sleuthing. Participants will receive a beautiful kit by Lauren Bird. The first member to correctly identify all five layouts, leave comments, and email will be given an additional prize. Layouts chosen for this contest will not have been posted earlier than 12:01 am Eastern on Friday, September 24th. Layouts will be randomly chosen from any category in the Gallery. Layouts will be chosen by Amy, Kristie, and/or Tanya and then ‘altered’ by placing the new SBB logo somewhere on the layout before being reuploaded into the same spot in its gallery. Layouts will not otherwise be changed.
