First question, can I use that Epson paper if I don't have an Epson printer? And, what are some other types of paper that works just in case I don't have that option? Thanks!

Jenn, post some pics, I'm interested in those other crafts.

I finished my blocks over the weekend. It was a really fun project. I ended up doing 1-1/2 inch blocks because it was too hard to find the 2" blocks (I'm going to try that website you used, Amy). I scuffed up the edges of the blocks with a nail file after I stuck the paper on and then I put a coat of modge podge on top of everything. So, the blocks have a fun, grungy look that I like. It also makes some of the unintentional imperfections look good. I like the way they turned out, but I also learned a few things along the way, and I know the next batch I do will turn out even better. Anyway, I haven't gotten around to taking a picture of the blocks yet, but I'll try to do that tomorrow and post the pic here. Thanks Amy for such a fun challenge!

Serena you can probably use any paper - I used the Epson paper because I have an Epson Photo Printer and it really likes Epson paper. If your printer does well with a good quality cardstock - do that!

I too want to see Jenn!

I went shopping to Michael's on Monday and picked up three blocks (the fourth block was cracked), so I'm going to do "JOY" too. I also bought Modge Podge and a Xyron machine (with the 40% off coupon from the newspaper)! I forgot about the brayer, so I will probably be going back to Michael's soon. hehe. I haven't started the project yet though... maybe this weekend.

Me again! I'm an altering fool! I did my JOY blocks & they really turned out bad! It was my first time using Mod Podge, so I think I went a little too heavy. And I was anxious to just get them done so I could see how they looked & I think they were kind of sloppy. But, I found a few more blocks today (I actually tried to order from that site, Amy, but I got an error ordering & they were closed when I tried to call. Maybe I should call again. I don't think my order went through.) So I'm keeping the JOY blocks for myself and I just did a set of HOPE ones and they turned out much better because I took my time. I'm going to try another set of JOY and then I've got 3 more blocks. As soon as I get my camera back (should be this weekend), I'll post pictures!
