LOL - no I don't think it is sad that you have never worked with Modge Podge. I only discovered Modge Podge a couple of years ago and it was for a kids craft project!
Since I am sure Jenn you are not the only one who hasn't heard of these things before - here goes:
Modge Podge is a adhesive a lot like Elmers Glue. It comes in a big bottle and you essentially paint it on. It's available in High Gloss and Matte finish. I bought a bottle from Walmart a couple of years ago and am only now running out. I have used it for tissue paper/stained glass projects to altered projects and more. It is a great craft supply.
A brayer is a little roller. It's like a paint roller only it has a hard or semi-hard roller on it and it is only about 3 inches wide. You use it to smooth out any underlying bubbles or air pockets.
Zyron Machine - is a little machine which essentially puts 2 sided tape on anything you run through it. So, you can put a piece of paper through it and it puts adhesive on the bottom turning it into a sticker! It's great!! Some people complain that it leaves a sticky residue sometimes - and that is true. But if you run a paint brush dipped in talcum powder over the adhesive - it will no longer be sticky!
I would love to see what you all are working on. Not only am I making these little blocks for teachers presents and more for the Holidays, I am going to make a couple of sets with the word "baby" on them for a couple of friends having babies in the next couple of weeks. Won't they be cute!!

I'll show you when I am done!
Come one ladies - let's show us what you got!
