I voted Fibres, fabrics and stitching...

My stitching is looking better, my fibres though never look real enough so I just leave them out.!!

Fibers/stitching has my vote! I have been wanting to recreate a blanket(sometimes called buttonhole) stitch. You see it a lot on fleece items done in a heavy thread like DMC floss or pearl cotton. Plus I love using fibers with tags lately and would love to have some different ones to use. Learning new things is so much fun! Metals would be my second choice. For paper tearing I recently enjoyed this tutorial provided by SBB member Franham at her website. Very helpful and easy to follow for photoshop users, which I believe you could also do in PSP.

I want to know more about creating backgrounds... I'm still climbing the learning curve and so I'm looking for the basic stuff and an interactive online tutuorial would be FANTASTIC.

Thanks for the info Ali.... for some reason I've not been able to retrieve my March issue and I think Kristie is working on fixing the problem.

Now I'm even more excited to get it...
