eyecandy

I had posted a while back about where I could find eyecandy for free. I had downloaded it, but a few months back had to reformat my hard drive. Ok, I am not organized at can't find which back-up CD it is on. I am going to continue to look, but does anyone know what site I can find it at? The site I used before is longer available. -Ali

Link to site I used before

Here you go Ali-

I hope this one works for you:
http://www.planetphotoshop.com/showcase_ec3.html

The site isn't very easy to see, but you can click under Non-NAPP members.

Eye Candy 3 has been replaced with Eye Candy 4000- that's probably why your old link didn't work anymore.

I've yet to try this- I hope it works with my PS4

What is eye candy anyway? A filter?

I think it qualifies more as a plugin. It has many effects that you can use to create metal and fibers and a whole lot of other effects. -Ali

I have eyecandy 3 but I find it confusing to use. It doesn't have the type of preview that the filters that come with Photoshop has, so it's hard to know what you're going to end up with. Just practice, I guess!

Jaylin, eyecandy does have a preview window, but you have to make sure that you drag the object into its view. The first time I did it I didn't understand why it wasn't showing in the window until I notice that you could move the object in the view screen. I have been playing around with the "jiggle" and "fur" features for fibers. Pretty neat! -Ali

Thank you! That will make it much less frustrating to use. Another "a-ha" moment for me!
