Photos Automatically Contracting

In the last month or so, I've noticed that when I move a photo around in one of my LOs that it contracts and expands the pixels depending on where the picture is placed. It did not use to do this.

It's hard to describe, but if I'm working on a photo with people's faces, for instance, their eyes might look like they're supposed to at one point and if I move the picture, even slightly, their eyes would be bunched up or squinted. I'm sure other parts of the photos do this as well, but it's just obvious on a person's face and not so much on inanimate or background objects. This happens automatically... although it also happens when I'm pulling on the Free Transform buttons and holding down Shift to resize a photo.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does this mean I need more memory to run PS7 properly? Is there a bug or virus in my version?

Please help!

That's weird. Wish I could help. When you print is it distorted like it is on the screen? There is a forum at adobe exchange maybe you can post your question there or contact support. -Alison

Something like this happened to me once too, but in ps 6.

I figured out that I , but mistake, resized the picture as I tried to move it. Could this be happening to you?
good luck
