Thanks, I will have to try that. I took tons of photos of him at christmas so there has to be one that I can use to try it with. He's a cutie! Some of his photos remind me so much of when Brandon was that age. Thanks again for the help!

in some extreme cases (like yours) or with cats... you will most likely have to paste eyes from another photo or paint it manually.

Here is my 5 minute fix

it could be better but you will need to spend more than five minutes on it, unlike the "regular" red eyes photos.

I played around with the pasting from another photo and couldn't find another set of eyes to work with the angle of the photo.

Thanks Denis for taking the time to do that! I had been playing around with painting a little bit. I think that is what I am going to have to do in this case. Thank you everyone for the suggestions! -Alison

Using photoshop, I did this real quickly using hue/sat. after selecting just the pupils, I slid the LIGHTNESS slider down to the dark side (about -75)

Wow, Susan that worked great and seems much easier than painting the color back in. Thanks so much! -Alison

we have a little filter

from photodeluxe... all you do is select the eyes and click on the filter and it corrects the red eyes. most of the time it does a great job.....

I really liked the red eye thing in PSP 8, thought it worked like a charm.

I use the red eye correction tool in PSP 8 all the time. I'm blue eyed, as are both my boys so we ALWAYS look like we've got the devil in us, lol!!!! I find that it works very well once you get the hang of it!!!

Stace.

I liked the PSP red-eye correction when I had that on my computer. I uninstalled it a while back and to force myself to learn more about photoshop. I love photoshop, but when I had PSP on my computer I would often use it to do things I didn't know how to in photoshop. -Ali
