once you start using them regularly, you'll wonder why you didn't use them more earlier... huge time saver.

I use a lot of those listed above, but lately I've been using as well...

Control-B for the Color Balance dialog (less blue, more magenta, etc)
especially when I do B&W because I like mine not so pure B&W.

Shift-Alt-Control-I for the File Information dialog box to put all my credits for my LO and links to websites etc in, so when I go to post them online its all right there. Then control-c and control-v it baby!

I use alot of keyboard shortcuts in both PSE 5 and CS3. Basically for anything I do frequently. One of my newest favorites is Alt+double clicking on the Background Layer to turn it into Layer 0 without having a new layer dialog box pop up. Have found some of the tool shortcuts are different between the two programs so am having to learn that. Need to edit the shortuct preferences in CS3--one of these days--so it matches PSE 5.

Thanks for the keyboard shortcut links!

H (Hand Tool) — When zoomed in to a portion of your photo, this command brings up the hand tool which allows for quick panning.
Z (Zoom Tool) — This command just brings up the zoom tool, which allows you to zoom in
Ctrl + 0 (Fit on Screen) — This is a quick-and-dirty command to get the entire photo in front of your eyes.
  • B (Brush Tool) — The brush is an extremely useful tool when working with masks, and I’m constantly using this command along with the hand and zoom tools.
  • Ctrl + Z (Undo) — Very useful for the little mistakes we all make
