Question Does anyone have this "resize" action?

A long time ago someone had posted instructions about how to enlarge a web (low res) picture and have it still say fairly sharp (first by unchecking resample image and then changing the resolution, save, and then resizing again with the resample checked and only increasing the size by 10% each time till you get to the size you want.) Now the technique works like a charm, however I can end up doing like 10-15 rounds of increasing the size, which drives me crazy!

I am wondering if anyone has an action for this that they can legally share with me?

Just thought I would take a chance and ask.

To be honest.. it depends on how far you want to upsize... if you are taking a 600x800 up to 3x the size.. using the native resize with resample in CS3 will do a decent job.. if you are going further or your DPI is only 75 or so.. you'll want a 3rd party addon like geniune fractals.. IMO.

It's the best product on the market for upsizing images.. but - as with most things - it is expensive. I use this for images that clients send to me for publishing books.. typically, they might have photos taken in 1940 that they want included in a book and I need to upsize them to add them to a 8x10 front cover, etc... Amazing product!
