Error when trying to open preview PSD file - SBB Digital Scrapbooking Forums | Scrapbook-Bytes

For some reason anytime I try to open my preview psd file I get an error message and CS3 shuts down. I've tried various copies of the psd file from different places on my computer but the same thing happens each time. I can open any other files without any problems. Does anyone have any ideas that can help me?

Not sure, but if you want to send it to me, I can try to open it here or try to open it with my PSP.

Thanks Colleen but after much cursing and fits that my children would be proud of I got it to work. I still don't know what the issue was but I'm convinced it's one of those gremlins that comes out just to frustrate me and suck up my creative juices.

Now if I can get it back I"ll finish what I"m working on and get it into the store.

LOL yeap I had those gremlins last night myself! I hate it when you know you are doing everything the right way and WHAM nothing is making a difference then all of a sudden for no reason you're good to go forward again after hours of looking like a crazy person!

When mine starts acting weird, I reboot and reset Photoshop. Sometimes, just a purge helps also (edit>purge>all) Sometimes you've sworn you've gone nuts. I need to reset quicker than I do when those things happen. I spend too much time trying to figure it out what I did, when I didn't go anything...it's just the Gremlins.

Yes, those Gremlins do come out more than you'd want them to.
