Two tone text help

Hi,
I'm trying to type text with a black boarder and orange on the interior. In PSP you just change the foreground color and the background color to what you want and type.
I am at a loss how to do this in PS. It seems you can only use one color to type.

Anyone have an answer?
Thanks, EZ

What version of PS are you using? Use layer styles. It's under styles. Click the fx button on the layers palette. Choose Stroke. You can choose a color there and whether it's inner, outer or center stroke.

the easiest way I know of is to type your text in orange, then in the "layer styles" (its the italic "f" at the bottom of the layers palette), choose stroke, you can change the color and width of your stroke. Hope that helps!

I use the stroke also. Another neat thing you can do, after your stroke, select your text layer to get your marching ants around the text, then select>modify>contract how many pixels you need ...make that a path and then stroke the path however you want. You can space your brush to make little dots or funky things. Kind of cool.

Thanks everyone,
After seeing these replies, it all comes back to me. I've actually done it a while back, but I think my brain went on a small "Spring Break". I'm still on the upward side of the learning curve in PSCS3. I just hate it when I want to recreate an effect that I have done on a previous LO but can't remember how I did it.

Anyway, the two tone text worked just fine. I appreciate the fast responses.

Thanks for this tip Doris. Sounds like a fun way to introduce myself to paths--since this is one of the reasons I upgraded to PSCS3 from PSE 5
