Is there a tutorial on this somewhere?

How do I create designs with multi colors, other than creating a gazillion layers for each color and merging them all together??

Here's an example of what I'd like to learn to do...

You can use the painbucket to flood fill areas like seperate stripes. For the flowers you can do a similar thing if the ares are well defined - or create a pattern out of coloured flowers, and use that pattern to fill the paper
Ill try and get one added on making striped background asap

I've been playing around with different layers and brushes, etc. and I think I might be getting the hang of it.
