Printing at Walgreens - get Green/Blue photos ?

I print things at Walgreens from time to time because the are close or I can upload them and my sister can pick them up across the state. Twice now I've uploaded LO's and they end up a greenish/blue color (not all of them that I send there...just a few in the stack). They look find on my end, they look fine when I upload, but when they print them, they are goofed up. I've even taken them up there on a disk and a lady attempted to figure out what was happening, but they didn't know. I don't use the sites editing software. I've looked at my properties and info, but I can't figure out what is happening. They always give me my money back...and then I print them at home with no problems. They said they've seen it before, but don't know what happens. Of course the people there don't have any photoshop skills and know anything from that side.

It's happend on LO's and on photos that I've post processed....WERID...and a pain....

If anyone has experienced anything like that and was able to solve the mystery, would love to hear from you.

When I tried to print at WalMart, the final answer had to do with the difference in the ICC profile.

You probably have the layouts/photos saved with an incorrect embedded profile... they should be in srgb profile format... or, the lab is reading them in incorrectly...

Agree with Pesto. I never have a problem printing at Walgreens. The only thing I've noticed is that my screen is brighter than the printers so I always have to remember to edit my photos a bit brighter to get the optimal result. But this is for any printer, not just WG. I just don't like really bright screens.

Ah yes, you're right about the brightness also. I just uploaded some today...I need to remember to do that.

Thanks everyone!
