Question How do I make glitter elements?

I've searched the tuts here, and I've searched the web. I just cannot find a tutorial on making glitter! The only ones I've found are having to do with making blinky GIFs, which I can already do. I want to make some of those cool glittery elements.... anyone?

I was wondering how that was done. Looks like an interesting program. Cheap also. Has anyone attempted it from scratch with Photoshop? Just wondering.

I use CS3 to make my glitter stuff, but prefer the results using Terry Maruca's glitter layer styles (I lost track of my own styles on one of my HD's). It is Terry's "Action Symmetry" found HERE at SBB. It's a cool little action too, and you will love the brushes and styles that come with it.
