How do you install a filter?

Okay, maybe this is just something that is super easy and I'm just being really stupid...I recently downloaded a filter from www.geocities.com/murakuma that is supposed to allow me to make seamless tiles. I opened it and...nothing. I can not find it in PS. It's in the folder where I opened it into but I don't know how to use it. HELP ME! LOL! Like I said, I obviously don't know what I am doing so if there is someone out there that does know, (which I am very sure everyone else but me does ) I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks so much!

It needs to be installed in your Photoshop Plug-ins folder....or you need to point photoshop to the folder where it is installed. Go to edit>preferences. there should be something in there.

Okay, I moved the folder to my plugins folder. Now what? I still can't seem to find it.

I think so... Or maybe not. I just noticed this: (i copied and pasted)...

"Please click 'Plug-ins' and download it. Or you can download 'FFL' if you have Plugin Commander.

To use plug-ins, you have to have MSVCRT10.DLL in your \Windows\System directory. If you don't have it on your system, you may download msvcrt10.zip and unzip it to your \Windows\System directory."

Is this something that I maybe should not do? Is there an easier way to learn how to do seamless tiles?

which version of PS are you using?
Seamless tiles are very easy to do without a plugin...
Tutorial for all versions.
With PS7+ you could also use the automated feature called Pattern Maker...

I am using PS7. (And there is SO much to learn!) I know that it's capable of doing a lot and I know what I want to do, it's just finding out the HOW that takes me forever lol! I tried the pattern maker but it looked wierd. Maybe I was doing it wrong. My tiles were really tiny and boxy looking.
