Adobe Photoshop Thread, Which version of Photoshop? in Software, Programs and More; CS2...I don't think my computer could handle CS3...it can barely handle CS2 sometimes!...

CS2...I don't think my computer could handle CS3...it can barely handle CS2 sometimes!

I'm still using cs2 and don't have any immediate plans to upgrade.

CS3.. luckily, I have access to all the latest and greatest tools, plugins, etc so I get to use the newest version.. That being said.. CS2 is just as good and a huge step up from CS (which is also great!).

I totally agree Pesto. For everything that I do CS2 was just as great!! I only upgraded because I got the whole package, which was was cheaper for me.

CS 3...it's just GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRReat!

The RAW upgrade is wonderful! It alone would've been worth it. While I haven't used it enough yet, the convert to smart filter changes are cool also.

I don't regret upgrading at all!!!

Yes.. I agree with Doris.. the ACR changes are worth the price of CS3 upgrade and are what I use in Lightroom now for all my photos. Oh yeah.. and CS3 aint bad either. Now if only they would add the ability to retain a complete history with your photos (like Lightroom does), it would be perfect (come on CS4!).
