Unhappy JPG Files not saving correctly?

Do any of you have this problem? Occasionally when I create papers and try to save as a .jpg, the resulting file is unreadable. No matter what I do, I cannot get the file to save as a .jpg.

Have you encountered this is PS7? How have you gotten around it?

I'm at my wits end with this. WHY is it always the cutest papers that won't save right? ARGH!

yes this happens in PS7, the only way I know to fix it is open it in CS2 or PSE or another program that can read the original PSD but once it is saved as a JPEG and it has an error, I don't think there is a way to fix it.. could be wrong though

That's the wierdest thing.

Thank you for the tip. That's exactly what I had to do. I got a freebie photo editor that can open .psd files and saved it there.

Did you try doing a "Copy Merged" and then pasting into a new document? I've had this happen now and then & it seems it's always the PSD file that has something funky with it. Hope it doesn't happen again for you!
