Adobe Photoshop Thread, Maybe this has been shared already..... such a cool find! in Software, Programs and More; I've been doing the Word thing, too. I'll definitely try it out! Thanks for the tip....

How about saving your History inside the Metadata too? There is the ability to save the history either to your metadata or an external file automatically. Whenever I need to make some drastic changes to a photo, I always turn on the option and write the History to the metadata. Then, I can always review the metadata in photoshop to see the steps I took to make the photo changes. While the history is not as detailed as I'd like.. it still helps a lot.
Check it out under Prefs-> General.. bottom of page and turn it on.. then make some changes to the photo and go to File -> Info and down ot the History section.. and there you go!

Oh, cool! Nice tip Pesto. I knew you could change the number of history steps saved, but this is better! I'll have to check it out! Thanks for sharing!

Edited: Great tuts Shelleyrae. I need to check out the notepad I've never seen that. I did see, using the File Info that you said that all the info will be lost when saved in any format other than PSD. My info stays there even as a JPEG, which is why it is so nice when posting to a gallery. The only difference I see is that I am putting the info in at "copyright notice" area. Wonder if that makes any difference.

oh thanks, I didn't know that feature was in PSE 5. I'm going to start using that. Much easier to find than my scattered notes!
