deleting loaded brushes

Is there any way to get rid of loaded brushes more quickly than one at a time?
the reason i ask is b/c i made a bunch of brushes but already had probably 100 or more open...I would like to save the ones I have recently made in a folder without the ones that i already had in there but i can only figure out one at a time :P
any help would be much appreciated (or even a "nope, that's the only way") so i can quit stressing about it and just dig in and do it one by one....
**i don't want to get RID of them, only to get them out of the current list so i can save the ones I made as a file**

Open the preset manager for your brushes and select all the brushes you would like to "remove".
Remember you are not deleting them permanently as long as they have been saved previously to this.
Once you have the brushes left that you would like to save as a .abr file. Select the flyout to save as and name your brushes.
easy peasy

OK I am probably not going to make any sense at ALL as I am not a tutorial person lol
in the brush preset manager you can hold down the 'shift' key and select the brushes you want to delete OR save set OR Rename

or alt A to select them all then select delete OR save set OR Rename

so if I had a whole mess of brushes and wanted to separate them without deleting them (in the brush preset manager) I would highlight just the grunge ones and then 'save set' as grunge
it will save only the grunge brushes that are highlighted not the others.
so I am sure I have totally confused you so found a site that has pictures, check out the 'Save and Load Brush set' section

If your brushes are not right together you can click on Control and select brushes. With shift, you have to select things that are right next to each other. Clicking on Control lets you skip around and back and forth.
