Adobe Photoshop Thread, what most do you have software.. in Software, Programs and More; I would always recommend Photoshop Elements, because it can do sooo much and there is so many resources out there ...

I would always recommend Photoshop Elements, because it can do sooo much and there is so many resources out there for it - both add-ons and tutorials. A few months ago, I would also have recommended Digital Image Pro - wonderful for a beginner - but now they've gone and discontinued it the stinkers!

thank you for help me with my decide... looked like i will get PSe for start..then i will get PSCS3 later... when i get use to PSE first...

If you get PSe, make sure you register it and get on their mailing lists. From time to time Adobe offers upgrads from Elements to PS CS 3. That's how I got my PS CS 2 for $299. I'd been drooling over PS for years, but didn't feel I could justify $600. So when I found out about the $299 deal, I jumped on it and have never looked back. So if you end up liking Elements and you end up liking digital scrapbooking and you do end up wanting CS 3 or whatever the next version is....you'll be ready. Good luck!
