Red eye reduction in photoshop?

I tried to search the forum for this question but no such luck....

I've been using photosho for years and always do red eye reduction myself. So I got to thinking is there a tool for fixing red eye? Maybe I'm not doing it right?

Share your red eye reducing secrets please!!!!

:-) Michelle

If you have PSCS2, you have a red eye tool in the healing brush selections.

For older versions of Photoshop, you can download actions that will do the removal for you. You can google "red eye removal actions for Photoshop" to find one that will work for your version.

There are also some good tutorials for doing the job by hand if you want to compare how you are doing it with others. Google "red eye removal in Photoshop" to get several.

I just use the red eye tool in PS CS2. It's with the spot healing, healing & patch tools. I used PSP before CS 2 and it always had a red eye tool also. Good luck.

Cool, thank you! That helps me out a lot!

I'm currently using PS7 but will be getting PSCS2 very soon!
