? about printing

Does is matter what mode you print at RGB or CMYK , I've done both. But CMYK seem to be to way to dark I have to reprint them, I also had them printed on glossy paper. To were RGB was on matted paper but I like glossy better, I had them printed at Costco.
Thanks

I think that if you are scrapping in RGB, you should be printing RGB. Whenever I print at home or Costco, I'm always designing in RGB. I think CMYK is really only used for commercial printing, and could be why you are having a bad output.

Yeah CMYK is for commercial printing, not photo printing. Designers who design for paper scrapbooking companies design in CMYK and when they design their digiscrap papers it is in RGB.

Cool.... THANK YOU SO MUCH LOL!!! I new I was doing it wrong when I did it in RGB I didn't like it either, but I think it was b/c it was matted when I use to print just pictures I would always do then in glossy. So I did another test print, I did like 4 of them to see & I put it in CMYK. So that's what I thought but wanted to come here & ask the experts !!!

You should also download Costco's printer profile. I print at 5 different locations in CA and they are all slightly different. I was surprised by this because the 2 northern CA that I use are only 13 miles apart from each other ... you would think the servicing would be from the same vendor so the results would be the same.
