Adobe Photoshop Thread, delete question in Software, Programs and More; Is there an easy way to delete the portions of layers that are hanging off the canvas (hidden)? TIA!...

Is there an easy way to delete the portions of layers that are hanging off the canvas (hidden)?

It definitely makes your total psd file size smaller- although usually I forget to do it LOL

another question...what do the options in there mean? top left pixel colour? etc.

I just leave "top left pixel color" checked

I don't think it matters because I always choose to trim all 4 sides anyway

btw- you can also surround your whole LO with the marquee tool and choose image>crop

Another way to do it if you have problems with trim resizing it to use the crop tool, just select the entire image and it'll crop off the overhang.
