PSCS Basic Question

I'm not sure what's happened... Hopefully I can explain it well and someone can help me with the what I'm sure is a simple solution to my problem.

I must have changed something, but can't figure out what. When I draw say a square or circle now with the standard selection tool... It's like the tip has turned invisible. I can't see it anymore once I go onto a solid background color.

If I'm on a white BG I can see it black... but once I fill with a color or BG paper it seems to be turning a light color that isn't visible to the naked eye at least not mine, lol.

Any help is greatly appreciated. It happened about a week ago, but has finally become a huge annoyance.

Sincerely,

Hi Shawna,

I'm not sure if I understood correctly what your problems is but if it's because your cursor has changed try checking your preference settings. Go to Edit, Preferences, Display and Cursors. Maybe your cursors got set to Precise somehow. You should be able to see them better if you use the Standard or Brush Size options.

If it's because the box surrounding what you draw has disappeared, check that the Show Bounding Box option is ticked on the toolbar (this appears when you have your Move Tool active.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

It was the first one Pam. I must of inadvertently hit Ctrl + 3, and changed the cursor to precise, ummm??? Well, now I know... It seems to be staying gray in color though. I wish it were Black as that gray doesn't show up too well on some colors. Cursor was the word I was looking for when I was typing my explanation and it just wouldn't come to mind. But I guess that happens when you stay up too late, ehh???

It's amazing how something that minor can get so annoying. {lol} I appreciate your help so much!

Now to decide should I get some sleep tonight(it's 6am here) or should I just wait up for that early morning crop getting ready to take place in 1/2 an hour? I can't believe I'm still up... I haven't pulled an all-nighter in years.
