Does anyone know how to make canvas with a frayed looking edge?

I can get the canvas part, but I want it to have the little strings at the bottom. Does that make sense? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Karen

use a very small brush and draw some shaggies. Put the vertical threads on a layer, an the horizontal on another. Any time you have significant overlapping, use a new layer. After you get the bevel and shadow and grunge painted on, it'll look like strings.

2 tips: get some REAL fabric and use it while you draw so you know what you're looking to create
PRACTICE! junk the first few attempts, get a feel for what works, then try it until you get something you like.

Take your time, play, don't get frustrated. Any more specific questions come up as you're working, ask and we'll help out

using a small brush or a textured brush helps a lot and using a pattern overlay to give it a canvas feel.

always remember that your ERASER brush is there to take away anything that you don't like.

whola -- anymore questions just let us know.
