Question Quick way to delete many layers at once??

Hi,

I am using PSCS for Mac. I usually end up with lots of missized picture layers when I am making a LO and then end up spending a lot of time (relatively speaking of course ) deleting all the individual layers. Is there a way to highlight all the layers I want deleted and then delete them all in one step? I have tried all the normal Mac ways of multiple deleting (command key, etc.) and I still can't highlight multiple layers. I have come up with merging all the layers into one and then deleting that one layer, but I don't really think it is a time saver since I have to merge each layer.

Any solutions?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if this works for Mac, but I have PSCS for PC and this is how I do it: click on one of the layers to delete, then link all the other "trash" layers with it. Go to Layer - Delete - Linked Layers. It's almost what you were talking about, only I don't have to merge the layers first.

Also, if you keep your layers orgainzed in subsets (I think that's what they're called -- when a set of related layers is in a "folder"), you can delete the subset with one click and all the layers it contained will be deleted too.
