I have tried to download the PhotoShop CS (free trial) version to my computer twice. Every time I downloaded it and I re-started my computer my screen went black and white. I thought there might be a bug in the trial version so I did not worry about it too much.

I have now received PhotoShop 7 and loaded it on my computer. It worked fine until after I re-started my computer when my screen went black and white. I had to go to a restore point before PhotoShop was loaded to go back to my old configuration.

I can work in PhotoShop without any problems so long I don't restart my computer. After I have to restart above problem will occur.

FYI, I am working on a Pentium 2. This computer is about 4 years old. I don't understand much about computers, but it looks like there is something about my computer that does not like PhotoShop. Is it simply too old to support PhotoShop?

Does anybody else have this problem (or had it in the past)? Is there anything I can do about it (other than buying a new computer?)

Try updating your video card drivers. This is easy and free to do. Also, make sure you have all the updates for windows. See if these work.

If that doesn't help, you may want to try adobe's support forums....someone there may have had similar issues in the past and be able to help.
